v 18. And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
I am a minister of reconciliation for God.
With this privilege of being a part of God’s masterpiece Temple comes the responsibility to share in the most significant work imaginable. Christ came into the world, demonstrating love, and ultimately dying to reconcile people to a holy God. Now he says to us, ‘You are so uniquely united with Christ, so identified with him, in dying, rising again and ascending to glory, that you also share his ministry of reconciling the world to me.’
Being significant and of value to your Heavenly Father means that you are under an obligation to share what you know with others in order to bring them to the point of faith and of being reconciled to God.
Not only are you a significant person but you also have a significant role in life; it is a task we share together as the body of Christ on earth. We will have different roles in the task, but let’s not shirk the responsibility of sharing the good news of reconciliation to God.
