Good morning everybody!

Next Wednesday, 26th February, is Ash Wednesday – the start of Lent.
The pattern of Daily Readings will be different throughout Lent, and there are choices you can make about the readings you receive, and how you access them.
The one thing common to all the readings is the overall plan: we shall read right through the Gospel of Mark, finishing it at Easter.
Here are your options for the readings:
A small booklet has been produced with all the readings and a brief daily comment.  The booklet readings begin next Monday with a couple of days on the theme of ‘Generosity’ – which is the main topic for our Growth Groups next week. The readings in Mark then begin on Wednesday 26th February and continue throughout Lent. These shorter readings from Mark will not appear as a daily reading coming by email.
As an alternative, the comments and  set readings in Mark will come out as Daily Notes on email – and they are an expanded, longer version of what appears in the booklet.
So your choice will be either the brief notes in the booklet which will be available at The Hub from now on, or the expanded notes by email. If you opt for the expanded notes by email you need take no action, they will come as usual. If you want the booklet, pick it up this weekend or early next week from The Hub.
Hope that all makes sense, and that you will be encouraged to follow Jesus as you read the account of his life as written by Mark.
Every blessing to you all as we journey together through this Gospel story.
John Rowland.
