All too clearly Jesus foresees the conflict between Himself and the Jewish leaders escalating to include the disciples. Following Jesus will often provoke some form of hostile response, even in the most easy-going areas. Why does holiness and purity of life create such hostility at times? Have you ever encountered this kind of hostility – and how can we respond to it?
