Journey to the Cross
On this Palm Sunday we hear the powerful story of Jürgen Moltmann – survivor of the 1943 Hamburg firestorm and former POW – whose encounter with extreme suffering led him to discover God in human forsakenness. He went on to challenge the idea of a distant deity, revealing instead a ‘crucified God’ who shares in our pain, suffering, and injustice.
