v 11.  From the time the daily sacrifice is stopped and the sacrilegious object that causes desecration is set up to be worshiped, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed are those who wait and remain until the end of 1,335 days!

Jesus seems to refer to this in Matthew 24:15 where we read ‘“The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about—the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.” (Reader, pay attention!) ‘

Daniel had written about this before in Daniel 11:31. Some scholars see this as a prophecy concerning the end times, and others think it refers to the actions of Antiochus IV who sacrificed pigs in the Temple in 167 BC.
